Public Consultation - Proposed School Closures

The public is invited to a consultation meeting as school closure considerations are discussed for Southview Community School and Webster Niblock School. We want stakeholders to participate in an important discussion about making the best use of available funding so we can support stable student populations and continue to deliver quality education. Your input is valuable; anyone who is impacted by a proposed closure is encouraged to attend and share their feedback. The session will include a facilitated discussion with an opportunity to provide feedback. The format of the public consultation meeting is an in person, facilitated feedback session.

Location Medicine Hat Public School Division Central Office, at 601 1st Ave SW, Medicine Hat. NEW! This meeting will be held at Medicine Hat High School in the main hub cafeteria at 200-7th Street SW TRANSPORTATION | If you are a parent or guardian who needs help getting transportation to the consultation meeting please contact the school principal. CHILDCARE | MHPSD Educational Assistants will be onsite to provide childcare. We ask that any family who needs childcare please complete the Registration form by Dec 1, 2025.
