Michele Frey | Vice Principal at Vincent Massey School
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michele Frey as Vice Principal of Vincent Massey School, effective Thursday, September 10, 2026. Michele Frey holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education in Biological Sciences from the University of Lethbridge and a Master of Education in Teacher Leadership from the American College of Education. She has also completed a specialization in Design Thinking through the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
Michele began her career with MHPSD in 2001 and has spent more than 25 years serving students, staff and families. With 16 years of classroom teaching experience at Dr. Roy Wilson Learning Centre, Elm Street School and Alexandra Middle School, Michele developed a strong foundation in teaching, learning and educational excellence before moving into school and division leadership roles. Since 2022, she has served as Vice Principal and Acting Principal at Crestwood STEM School, providing instructional and operational leadership in a kindergarten to Grade 6 environment. Before joining the leadership team at Crestwood STEM School, she served for five years as an Optimal Learning Coach, supporting kindergarten to Grade 12 educators through professional learning, instructional coaching and collaborative approaches focused on literacy, numeracy, assessment and inclusive education.
