Farewell Celebration
Dear Grade 9 Families,
The grade 9’s are nearing the end of their journey at Wilson! We are so proud of the accomplishments and growth we have seen from our students this year. As we wind down the year we want to take some time to celebrate our amazing group of 9s before they head off to high school.
Grade 9 Farewell 2026
When: Tuesday, June 23th at 6:30 - 7:30 pm
What: A small ceremony, juice and dessert following the ceremony
Photography areas will be set up for friends and family photo opportunities
Who: Grade 9 students and their families
Where: The gym at WLC
Currently we are limiting the number of guests per student to four (this does not include your grade 9 student). Once we have confirmed our number of guests we may be able to open up to more guests.

Please complete by June 13, 2023.
Expectations:
All students attending grade 9 at WLC are welcome to participate in this evening.
We want to assure parents that no additional costs or special clothing is required for this activity. Typically we have asked that students dress up a little (such as removing their hoody, taking off the hat, etc…) but by no means do students need to purchase special clothing for this event. We just want them to look their best and be comfortable.
We have also had lots of parents asking how they can help, and we appreciate the offer but we want this event to be a time of celebration for you and your family so we take care of all the details so you can enjoy the evening.
We are so excited to celebrate with our grade nine students and their families. While it is bittersweet to have our students leave us, we know they are all destined for great things at the high school level and beyond.
