Michelle Robinson

Hello everyone!  If we haven’t already met, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Michelle Robinson, and I am a Grade Seven English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher.  I am thrilled to begin my seventeenth year as a teacher!  This year is very exciting for me as I am set to begin my first year as a Grade Seven teacher after many years of teaching Grade 6.  In addition to teaching at WLC, I have taught at George Davison, Elm Street, and Southview School.  I started my teaching career in northern Manitoba, and have many great memories living in this part of Canada.  I also have a B.A. in Archaeology, so I definitely enjoy sharing my knowledge of the past with my students.

Other than teaching, I spend a lot of my free time coaching both ringette and softball.  I absolutely love both sports and enjoy spending time with my daughter in this way.  I have two dogs at home, and regular walks throughout the Southridge community is a part of my daily routine.  I have many wonderful learning experiences planned for this year and I am excited to get things started!
