Hello, and welcome to the wonderful world of kindergarten! I am excited to be teaching kindergarten again at Dr. Roy Wilson Learning Centre. This will be my 6th year teaching kindergarten and I absolutely love it! I have had a  variety of experiences working in kindergarten through practicum placements, volunteering and teaching. My teaching career began at Webster Niblock School where I also taught kindergarten. I was thrilled to continue my dream job at WLC when it opened in 2014. I love working with this age of children, and I believe that it is where I am  meant to be. Their curiosity and spontaneity makes each day new and exciting! I love learning alongside my kinder-kids and it is a privilege to witness their growth and progress throughout the school year.

I was born and raised in Medicine Hat. When I am not planning and preparing for school, I enjoy spending time with my firefighter husband, Brent, and taking  our Yorkie puppy, Lily, for walks. I also enjoy biking, traveling with family and taking part in adventurous activities such as horseback riding, snorkeling, and parasailing. When I am at  home, I enjoy reading, baking, and trying new recipes!

I truly look forward to working with you and your little ones this year. My goal is to create  memorable and engaging experiences while providing a safe and warm learning environment  for your child's first year of education. Please feel free to contact me at any time. I believe that  home/school communication is essential for the success of our children.
